She's So Italian

Blonde Ale with Flowers, Pepper, & Honey

She’s So Italian is inspired by our friend Agostino Arioli of Birrificio Italiano’s beer Fleurette which we brewed with him at RRBC as a collaboration back in 2008. It is a blonde ale brewed with flowers, honey, pepper, and elderberry juice. This is a far cry from what we normally brew at Russian River as we normally stick with traditional brewing ingredients. This light beer has a beautiful aroma of flowers, honey, with a mild peppery backbone. Similar characteristics can be found in the flavor of the beer as well. The dry finish makes the beer quite refreshing and drinkable.
